Meet Laura Carmichael
Founder and Lead Executive Assistant
With a background in education and over 16 years of experience, Laura brings a highly organised and practical approach to supporting businesses behind the scenes. After working as a Head of PE across the UK and UAE, she transitioned into the virtual assistant world to create a more flexible way of working - and has been running Amigo since 2024.
Laura now supports a range of clients with everything from day-to-day admin and client onboarding to website updates and social media, helping keep things running smoothly without the overwhelm.
Working alongside a small team, she offers reliable, flexible support across both business and personal tasks.
Now based back in the North East of England, Laura works with clients globally and is focused on helping businesses stay organised, consistent, and moving forward.
